Do you guys use a planner? I’ve just recently bought one to help stay more organized--and so far so good! For some summer-y fun I thought I’d make a free watermelon to-do list/checklist type printable. The best part is you can print it out and use it whether you have a planner or not!
Before I got my planner I was using a spiral notebook to write down post ideas, notes, to do lists, etc, and it was getting a little hectic in there. I kept saying to Adam “I wish I could take out the pages I don’t need anymore.” and then I realized “Of course! Get a planner so you can keep it organized and take out pages you’re done with”. That, and I thought it would be fun to make my own custom pages for it as well as fun ones for you guys (and myself :P).
I did some research and ended up purchasing a Pink Webster’s Pages Color Crush A5 Planner on Amazon. Being vegan I didn’t want a leather one, and as I’ve not used a planner like this before I wanted to find something in the lower price range of planners. Knowing that if I love using a planner I’d replace this one with a fabric one of some sort (most likely yellow) when this one wears out. I didn’t purchase any pages or inserts because I wanted to make my own in Adobe Illustrator so instead I purchased a 250 pack of blank A5 paper and an A5 hole punch. For dividers I used some cute scrapbook paper cut to the same size as the A5 paper and simply hole punched them. I’m really happy with the results and if you’re in need of more organization I highly recommend getting a planner and seeing if you like it. It’s basically an easier to organize notebook!
For this printout I included a space across the top to write in what kind of list it is and check boxes along the side so you can easily fill in the box or check it off when you finish the task! If you have, or purchase, A5 paper you can simply print it out. If you don’t have A5 paper you can use A4 paper like in this tutorial to get two A5s from the one A4 sheet. If you don’t have a planner you can still print this out on regular 8.5" X 11" paper (as best shown on the left in the first and second image). Then just pin it somewhere or keep it in a folder or clip it to a clipboard and use it as a regular check list.
To download my printout simply click the link below. I do ask, if you do download my printout please keep it for personal use only.
I’m excited to get more creative with my planner and do more free printouts and other types of planner inserts/crafts. I hope you enjoy the printable! Have a great week guys!!
